Leave a space 3/4″ x 4-7/8” in the lower right-hand corner to allow for it. If the barcode is not included in the address block, it will be placed across the bottom of the postcard, toward the right side corner.The Intelligent Mail barcode is approximately 3” x 5/8” and can be included in the address block if there is at least 3-1/2” of horizontal space available in the address area.This allows for easier scanning by machines and reading by postal workers. There should be no more than 7% of ink coverage in the addressing and barcode areas. ![]()
